Dear Hampstead Hill Families,
I hope this message finds you well and that everyone had a relaxing and restorative break. It was wonderful to have that time to step away and recharge. Personally, I spent my break on a biking tour through Vietnam, an incredible bucket list experience that filled my cup with adventure, new sights, and 150 miles! I’m back now, feeling energized (albeit not totally recovered) and ready for everything this spring has in store. And there is so much to look forward to.
Warmer weather is on the horizon, which means outdoor recess in the park, a brand-new playground on the way, and all of the memorable field trips and end-of-year activities that make this season so special. I want to give a special shout-out to our boys basketball team. You finished with a hard-fought 7-1 season. That kind of dedication and teamwork is something to be incredibly proud of. Way to go!
I’m also thrilled to announce a new partnership with Volo, which will be offering flag football and soccer clinics this spring for our elementary-age students. This is a wonderful opportunity for our kids to build skills and have fun together. At the heart of everything we do is the goal of ensuring every child feels included and knows they belong. We all share the same goal: creating more and better opportunities for your child to thrive and feel part of something special. Happy Spring, everyone!
Warmly,
Principal Hornbeck
