HHA enforces a supervised restroom policy in order to keep the building safe. PreK and kindergarten classrooms have restrooms located in their classroom. Students may use the restroom anytime during the day, as needed. Youngsters in grades one through eight have two supervised restroom breaks during the day, which are dedicated for their specific class. Additionally, the restroom may be used during breakfast and at a child’s lunch time period.   Of course, emergency restroom use and medically documented requirements will always be granted. Students must have a pass to use the restroom, unless they are with their entire class. Students should use the facilities as quickly as possible and leave after washing their hands. All students have the responsibility of keeping the restrooms in a clean and orderly condition.
