Hampstead Hill Academy has a supervised restroom policy in order to keep the building safe. Pre-K, kindergarten, and 1st grade classrooms have restrooms in their classrooms. Students may use the restroom anytime during the day, as needed. Children in grades 2-5 have two supervised restroom breaks during the day, which are dedicated for their specific class. Additionally, the restroom may be used during breakfast and at a child’s lunch period. Emergency restroom use and medically documented requirements will always be honored. Students must have a pass to use the restroom, unless they are with their entire class. Students should use the facilities as quickly as possible and leave after washing their hands. All students have the responsibility to keep the restroom in a clean and orderly condition. Gender-neutral restrooms are available for a student use upon request.
