State Leaders See the HHA Magic!
Governor Wes Moore, Mayor Brandon Scott, and other state leaders visited HHA. They were able to see firsthand what we see every day: our brilliant students shining in community circles and deep, meaningful conversations. This special visit celebrates the hard work of our entire community. We are so grateful to our students, staff, and families for making HHA the special place it is!

HHA Cross Country Team
In November, HHA’s Cross Country team finished our best XC season on record competing in 2 leagues, 8 meets, and wrapping up the season at a Baltimore City Recreation and Parks 5k race! Over 40 athletes learned how to push limits, improve personal records, endure such a hard sport, encourage teammates, go farther, get faster, and have fun running. HHA boys’ and girls’ teams brought home 2nd + 3rd place team wins for city league and 1st(!) + 2nd place team wins in the charter league, winning a XC champions team trophy for the first time ever. The season concluded with a hot chocolate + cookies celebration and a 5k race where HHA athletes earned over a half-dozen 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals amongst over 300 competitors.
