Gradual Entry – Monday, August 28th & Tuesday, August 29th

To ensure a smooth transition for students, parents, and teachers, Kindergarten will follow a gradual entry schedule. On Monday, August 28th, families will come to school for a scheduled 45 minute block of time to meet with teachers, see the classroom, and to help students feel more comfortable in their new setting. This will be a semi-private conference that will include six or seven families and your child’s teachers. At the end of the conference, your child will go home with you for the day. Your conference time will be included in your cubby conference letter sent out mid-August.
On Tuesday, August 29th, kindergarten students will attend school following an early release schedule. Kindergarten will have a 12:35 dismissal time on this day. All kindergarten students will come to school for a full, regular day on Wednesday, August 30th.
